How Socialism and War Mongering Will Destroy America

Some Background

I want to start with a couple of videos just to get some background for the points I want to make. First China tells its military to prepare for war. Next, China advises that it will defend Iran starting a third world war if necessary.

China Tells Military: "Prepare for War"

China Says It Will Defend Iran

Setting the Stage

I argue that socialism or progressive politics along with war mongering from both the left and the neo cons is setting the stage for the final and dramatic collapse of American civilization. Basically, a short lived experiment in constitutional democracy may soon be at an end. The big picture is that we are in a dramatic economic demise just as we are also engaged in foreign wars that we cannot afford, and that align the world against us in dangerous times. We cannot afford trillions of dollars on foreign wars and nation building to prevent say Iran from obtaining a single nuclear weapon all the while the Chinese have 3,000 or so aimed at us. Especially if these foreign wars instigate hate against us and basically make us the foreign aggressors. It is an insane path our nation is on.

The welfare state and the print money to take care of everyone and every special interest group state has failed dramatically. As a result of the philosophy of the left, if it is any coherent philosophy at all, has wrecked our nation both economically and socially. We are rapidly losing our economic might at the same time as our moral fabric and culture has nearly disintegrated. In essence the entire philosophy of the left is a dramatic failure both economically and socially. Certainly our nation is in near economic ruins and the social fabric of our society is coming apart. Now, I would like to consider where we are headed. Or in essence the superposition of the foreign wars along with the decline at home.

As we decline at home we also embark on a dangerous path: war mongering, wars, and nation building, an endless cycle that perpetuates itself as we produce hate against America in all regions of the earth. We pretend we have the moral high ground or that they attack or provoke us while in fact it is quite the reverse. See this fascinating account on Iran:

Some Iran Background

Blow Back

Basically Iranians hate us for good reasons. That doesn't justify terrorism or put the blame on average Americans but it does give a causal explanation of what is going on. See the Ron Paul Imagine speech next:

Ron Paul's Imagine Speech

Blow Back

Now just to put it also in print: We took out Iran's democratically elected leader in 1953. We put the First Exploitation Company in their country so we could profit from and control their oil (see Wikipedia) We put Saddam Hussein in power, and gave him chemical weapons after he had used them for genocidal purposes. These weapons were used against Iran in one of the most brutal wars ever. Did we follow the golden rule? What can we expect? Should we be surprised someone over there might not like us? How would you react if you lived in South Texas and the Chinese were there?

What we are up to today with a blockade against Iran really isn't much different than all our other acts of war against their country. And why? Because they might get one nuclear weapon? Just one when we have 9,000? Israel has 300 nukes aimed at them. Do we think this tiny military power is suicidal? Their country is surrounded by nuclear weapons. Why wouldn't they want one?

Anyway even if you think Iran is wrong and provoking us which I would debate based on what we have done to them. Is this endless war policy rational? Where does it end? Will we also spend 5 trillion trying to rebuild Iran? And if they radicalize more then what do we do? What if we successfully align the entire middle east (except Israel) and China against us? What happens when China produces more nuclear weapons per year than we do? What if they are not even the ones that are the hostile unjust aggressors that start the Third World War but we are?

Maybe it is inevitable anyway. I have been to China they run over anything in their path. But I want to start out on the right side not on the side of some corrupt empire killing innocent citizens around the world. And even if all my analysis is wrong people around the world see it that way. Is it good policy aligning the world against ourselves, just as we decline, and just as we are starting to realize that the Chinese pose a dramatic threat? Is this not exactly the way so many once great civilizations went down?

Finally, the threat from the Chinese is so much more significant than the threat from Iran that it tends to make our concern with picking out Iran and one potential nuclear weapon that they don't even have yet a bit preposterous. Again China has 3,000 nuclear weapons. That is enough to destroy the world many times over. They now have the first missiles that can be used to destroy aircraft carriers. In the big picture: If we go to war with Iran and spend 5 trillion on nation building there all over one nuclear weapon where will that leave us? In the meantime China may build another 3,000 nuclear weapons and advance their other forces. In other words put their money to strategic use while we waste our borrowed and printed dollars on nonsense that doesn't even server our interests.

I think I have made the argument. The argument is simply that we cannot afford these unnecessary foreign wars when we are in decline at home. I argue that we should do better at following the golden rule, and that we need to pay attention to the Blow Back Principle. I think the war mongering neo cons along with the left who also support these wars and subsequent nation building are setting the stage for our final decline.

As Ron Paul is the only candidate that opposes these wars I would like to encourage people to look into his policy ideas. He would defend our country when needed. Don't buy into the media lies, distortions, and fallacies about Ron Paul. He is no racist. In fact he favors changing drug laws and capital punishment because of the unfairness of how they impact minorities. He is no extremist unless freedom and limited government and following the constitution are extreme ideas. Go to Youtube don't bother with the MSM. Join the revolution.

Great Article.. But the United States is a Constitutional Republic. Not a Democracy.

The Founders hated democracy because the majority could remove the rights of the minority. A Republic protects fundamental rights by law so the Minority can breathe easy that the Majority won't vote their rights or their lives away.
